Haul Time! (Mostly Ulta)

Over the past few weeks, I've managed to get my hands on some new products.  A few things that I've been wanting to try for quite a while, and a few that I bought on a whim.  Some of these products I plan on doing a more in dept review on very soon!
So lets jump right in! :)

First things first, here are all the items I've purchased in the past few weeks.

From left to right:

Color Your Smile Lip Glosses in Butter Cream & Rose Hill
Clarisonic Mia 2 in Lavender (also extra brush heads)
- Elf Ariel Beauty Book: Only available in Walgreens stores
Essie Summer Nail Polish in Ruffles & Feathers
Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in Milky Way

I love the Real Technique brushes.  I own several other brushes from this line and I have to say that they have become some of my favorites.  I'd definitely suggest going out and picking up a few of these, you won't regret it!

I recently discovered these glosses due to my love of watching Youtube videos.  I've seen a ton of these glosses before, but these colors were created by one of my favorite beauty vloggers on YouTube, Jaclyn Hill.  She is awesome!  Check her out :)  Also give these glosses a chance.  They are beautifully pigmented and they actually stay on your lips without having to apply a million times through out the day.

This palette from Too Faced has become one that I reach for often lately.  I enjoy the top row of colors for a natural look.  Now, the quality of the photos posted aren't amazing, but the pigment of the shadows aren't amazing either.  They are very good, don't get me wrong....but they aren't Lorac.  Still worth trying out though.

Now, for my LOVES!  Lorac has definitely impressed me with their PRO palettes; my favorite shadows by far.  They are so creamy, highly pigmented, and just down right beautiful.  The thing I love so much about the PRO palettes, you get a nice mixture of colors; 8 mattes and 8 shimmers in both the orignial and the PRO 2.  The PRO 2 has colors on the cooler side, where the original has more warmer tones.  Either way, you will get beautiful results with either palette.  The possibilities are endless.  If you don't have the original PRO palette or the PRO 2, you are truly missing out!!

I do plan on doing a tutorial using the Lorac PRO 2 very soon.  I will have it posted here as well as on my YouTube (which will be up and running within the next week).  Also...I will be doing a little series with my Clarisonic soon.  I just got it yesterday, so I will start using it this week and make some updates on how it's working for me.  I'm very excited to share all of this with you guys!  If you have any questions or requests, PLEASE let me know!

Raven

The First of Many!

Ah!

Let me just start out by saying how excited I am to start the new adventure!  I've been wanting to do this for quite a while...just never got around to it or something like that.  I finally stopped making excuses and created a blog (yay)!

I'll start with a little about myself; my name is Raven and I'm 24 years old.  I've been in love with makeup and all things beauty for as long as I can remember.  I've also been a freelance makeup artist for about 6 years now.  While I love beauty, I'm also a nerd.  I love video games and all that fun stuff, so you might see some of that on my other social media (I'll try to keep it off of here though lol).

I do plan on starting a YouTube channel in the near future; I really wanted to get this page established first though.  I'll be doing reviews, tutorials, first impressions, hauls, etc.  If you have any requests, please feel free to comment and let me know what you'd like to see or your opinions!  I love feedback :)

Please stay tuned for new posts and updated on the YouTube channel as well!

I can't wait to interact with you all, share beauty tips and tricks, and make some new friends!

xo,

Raven
